When asking how exactly is generalization/specialization represented on a UML class diagram, most folks probably are instantly thinking about the generic point - how many factors to the generic dimension? And they may also be considering the characteristic measurements in terms of their value as components of the overall thing. However, as we can see from the generic point, there are a lot of possible ways to present generalization/specialization information. And there are also lots of ways to group the measurement part data into each dimension itself. In reality, it doesn't matter where the amount of factors goes - as long as the measurement size, or its'covariance' (meaning that the anticipated size of this component points) is large enough, the number of points is enough to represent all of the components of a generic item, and thus one can assume that the overall form of the measurement - whatever the amount of factors - is still represented. Both of these attributes are placed side by side in one dimension, therefore each is represented by three elements. And one can also see these three dimension-based components interact with each other and provide information about the total connection between the two attributes. Another example of generalization/specialization represented on a UML diagram is that the level of abstraction. This is a feature which permits us to place every one of the attributes of this generic object - such as the form and colour - at a different level of abstraction, so that we are able to make sense of the info from this degree - i.e. in an abstract level. The subjective level of abstraction could be considered as a'sub-level' of this generic item, so that there is more data available to explain this level. As a result, one can also assume that the generalization/specialization representing a specific level of abstraction is also a specific one. So now that we know about generalization/specialization and how they're reflected on a UML diagram, we are now ready to proceed to another significant components of a UML diagram. Let us take a look at them today... Particularization is a really important component of UML, and it's possibly the most commonly used and most common idea. This concept is what enables us to group all the part attributes of the generic item into'components' and then use these components to make sense of the entire object, and so create a representation of the object as a system of components. The expression of this idea is that each of those individual measurement characteristics of the generic object must have its own part in the diagram, and also that each one of these components is represented by its own coordinate. Thus, it turns out that these a variety of generalization techniques are highly useful to our understanding of UML diagrams and can be used to modify UML diagrams in a number of different ways.
